story board

After reading, The Day Jimmy's Boa Ate the Wash, we made a story board. Story boards are a great way to assess student's understading of important events in a story. Since we draw, everyone is successful!

We first made a rough draft on chart paper. Then I assigned partners to an event in the story. I let them spread out all over the room to draw.

Here is our final product!
