For Columbus day we watched a Columbus movie on BrainPop Jr. You can watch it
here. We read this cute book, it's a good one.
Then we did this adorable TLC art from Deanna Jump's blog. They turned out so cute! I love how they all look so different.
We are very excited for Halloween over here!! Since that is all my kids can talk about during calendar time I decided to make a count down to candy. I got this idea from First Grader at Last.

Do you have a ballpark idea on how long this activity takes? I really liked the movie but i'm not sure if a craft/book/movie will take too much time in my classroom.
